Plasterboard Recycling

In 2005 plasterboard regulations changed prohibiting it from landfill. This was due to plasterboard producing odorous and toxic hydrogen sulphide gas when biodegrading.

To reduce this impact our systems changed. Since we have innovated the best ways for our customers to dispose of this product but keeping recycling at the forefront.

We now ask customers to segregate plasterboard within waste skips and have containers specialised for large quantities of plasterboard. We try to absorb as much of these costs keeping at a minimum for our customers.

Waste plasterboard which enters our transfer station is exported for the production of new plasterboard, helping to eliminate new production. From small to large quantities, please contact our sales team who will be able advise the most effective method for your disposal call 01386 841181.
